About the Author
Katrina McLeod, formerly known as Katrina Di Clemente, was born in 1978.
She is the eldest daughter of Concezio Di Clemente from Abbateggio, Abruzzo, Italy, and Daniela Di Clemente from Fara Vicentino, Vicenza, Italy.
Katrina grew up in rural Victoria alongside her younger siblings: Jane, Ben, Adam, and Luke.
Following her high school education, Katrina pursued a Diploma of Hospitality Management and spent over 12 years working in the hospitality industry. However, she later decided to switch careers and ventured into healthcare, working as a dental nurse.
Unfortunately, Katrina faced a series of health issues and was eventually diagnosed with a condition known as Neurosarcoidosis, an autoimmune disease. As part of her recovery process, she was encouraged to compile a family recipe book, which became an important aspect of her rehabilitation.
Katrina is a loving mother to three beautiful daughters named Georgia, Florence, and Harriette. In 2015, she tied the knot with her husband Andrew. She is now embarking on a new chapter in her life as a self published author.
